Promotion or Reclassification to Supervisory Classification. An employee who is promoted from a non-supervisory classification to a supervisory classification, or whose position has been reclassified to a supervisory level, shall receive a salary at the first step of the higher class or at the step which provides for at least a ten percent (10%) increase over their base salary prior to such promotion. If an increase equal to 10% should exceed the last step of the new range (Step 5), the employee shall be placed at the last step (Step 5) of the new range.

  • Reclassification Procedure a. A completed Position Description Form and written explanation for a proposed reclassification request shall be submitted to the Agency Personnel Office. b. Agency shall review and verify the duties assigned to the position. Within thirty (30) days after receipt of reclassification request, the Agency shall notify the Union of its findings. If the findings indicate reclassification, the Agency shall decide to seek approval if necessary or remove duties.
