Promotion Outside the Bargaining Unit. If a regular employee is promoted or transferred to a position outside the certification and is found to be unsatisfactory or the employee finds the position to be unsatisfactory, the employee shall be returned to her or his previously held classification without loss of seniority and accrued benefits and shall be slotted at the wage rate to which she or he would have been entitled had the promotion not occurred. These terms and conditions apply for a period of ninety (90) working days from the date she or he commences work in the new position. By mutual agreement between the Union and the Employer, this period may be extended to one hundred and twenty working days.
