Promotion Outside the Bargaining Unit. An employee who is transferred or promoted to a position outside the bargaining unit may return to her former position within three (3) months from her last day of work in it on the condition that such employee has paid to the Union the equivalent of three (3) months union dues within fifteen (15) days from her date of promotion or transfer. The Union will promptly confirm to the Employer, in writing, that an employee has made her payment to the Union as described at a) above. For purposes of seniority, an employee who returns to her former job within the bargaining unit as provided in this article is treated as if she had never left.
