Qualification of Contractors. 2.1 Only contractors who can furnish at least three references of prior building contracts will be allowed to build in the Estate.
2.2 An owner builder who qualifies under 2.1 will be allowed to construct his own home.
2.3 Contractors are at all times responsible for their sub-contractors and employees while on the Estate.
Qualification of Contractors. All contractors engaged by Tenant shall be bondable, licensed contractors, possessing good labor relations, capable of performing quality workmanship and working in harmony with Landlord' s general contractor and other contractors on the job.
Qualification of Contractors. SECTION 1. In order to become signatory to the Sheet Metal Air Rail & Transportation Workers Local No. 55 agreement, a contractor must qualify in the following respects:
A. He must have an established place of business open to the public, containing a set of sheet metal tools and equipment necessary to do his line of work and must have a listed business phone, proper sanitation facilities and drinking water.
B. He must employ at least one journeyman sheet metal worker when any work under article I of the Standard Form of Union Agreement is being performed. However it will be permissible for an owner member to be the one journeyman member.
C. Members of the Union will be permitted to work only for employers who have a legitimate place of business which has been approved by the Local Union.
D. Contractors coming into the jurisdiction of Local Union No. 55 shall not be allowed to establish a temporary place of business for the purpose of avoiding compliance with the Local Union rules or Agreements.
E. All contractors shall be required to have an established permanent shop off the job site to be in compliance with the Local Union requirements uniformly applied to all contractors not signatory to this agreement.
F. For contractors not signatory to this Agreement (outside contractors) the distance shall be measured from the JATC Training Center (5690 Albatros, Boise, Idaho) for the purpose of determining mileage and travel time.
G. Any employer coming into the jurisdiction of this Agreement from outside the territorial jurisdiction of the Union shall hire at least one journeyman through the hiring hall, as provided for herein, in order to meet the requirement of having a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ on the job.
Qualification of Contractors. Once the Final Plans have been proposed and approved, Tenant shall select and retain a contractor, subcontractors and vendors (such as HVAC engineers) from a list of preferred contractors, subcontractors and vendors provided by Landlord in connection with all aspects of the design and construction of the Tenant Improvement Work in accordance with the Final Plans. All contractors, subcontractors and vendors engaged by Tenant shall be bondable and licensed, possessing good labor relations, capable of performing quality workmanship and working in harmony with Landlord’ s general contractor and other contractors on the job, if any, all as determined by Landlord. All Tenant Improvement Work shall be coordinated with any ongoing general construction work on the Site or in the Building, if any.
Qualification of Contractors. Once the Final Plans have been proposed and approved, Tenant shall select and retain a contractor and subcontractors from a list of contractors and subcontractors approved by Landlord for the construction of the Tenant Improvement Work in accordance with the Final Plans. All contractors engaged by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall be bondable, licensed contractors, possessing good labor relations, capable of performing quality workmanship and working in harmony with ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s general contractor and other contractors on the job, if any, all as determined by Landlord. All work shall be coordinated with general construction work within the Building, if any.
Qualification of Contractors. 2.1 Only contractors who can furnish at least three references of prior building contracts (which they have built within the last three years) will be permitted to build in the Vulintaba Country Estate.
2.2 An owner/builder who qualifies under 2.1 will be allowed to construct his own home.
2.3.1 It is the responsibility of the property owner/building contractor to induct all sub- contractors with regard to the contents of this Contractors’ Agreement;
2.3.2 Contractors are at all times responsible for their sub-contractors and employees while on the Estate and must ensure that this agreement is known by them;
2.3.3 Owners representative (quantity surveyors, engineers, safety officers, etc) are expected to adhere to the Estate’s rules and regulations.
2.3 Contractors are to furnish a valid (up to date) copy of their NHBRC clearance certificate prior to commencement of construction. Any builder who is not able to furnish this document will not be permitted to build on the Estate.
2.4 All contractors are to sign and return to Estate Management the NHBRC checklist found on page 04 of this Agreement. Any contractor who does not comply with any/all of the points noted will not be permitted to build, until such time as the contractor complies with the requirements.
2.5 All contractors are required to attend an induction session by Estate Management. All induction documents are to be submitted back to Estate Management prior to commencement of ANY site activity/construction/excavation.
Qualification of Contractors. SECTION 1: In order to become signatory to the SE WA / NE OR and NE WA / N ID Area Agreements, a contractor must qualify in the following respects:
(a) He/She must have an established place of business open to the public, containing a set of sheet metal tools necessary to do the line of work as listed in Article 1 and have a listed phone number for business, plus have all the necessary licenses, to conduct such a business.
(b) He/She must be financially responsible to handle payroll, vacation pay, and fringe benefits (Welfare, Pension, Subsistence, etc.) payments.
(c) He/She must employ at least one (1) journeyman sheet metal worker steadily.
Qualification of Contractors. In order to become signatory to the Southeastern Washington and Northeastern Oregon Area Agreement, a contractor must qualify in the following respects:
Section 1. He/She must have an established place of business open to the public, containing a set of sheet metal tools necessary to do the line of work as listed in Addendum 1 and have a listed phone number for business, plus have all the necessary licenses, to conduct such a business.
Section 2. He/She must be financially responsible to handle payroll vacation pay, fringe benefits (Welfare, Pension, Subsistence, etc.) payments.
Section 3. He/She must employ at least one (1) journeyman sheet metal worker steadily.
Qualification of Contractors. 2.1 Unless otherwise determined in writing by the Association, only contractors who are registered and fully paid-up members of the NHBRC and who can furnish at least 3 (three) references or prior building contracts acceptable to the GREHOA, will be allowed to build at or on the estate. Provisional 1 certificate and Residential Unit Enrolment certificates must be provided and verified before building may commence. (allow 5 days for verification process)
2.2 An owner builder who qualifies under 2.1 may be allowed to construct his own home and shall for the purposes of this Code of Conduct, be deemed to be a contractor herein.
2.3 The Owner is at all times responsible for his Contractors and their employees, workmen, sub-contractors, tradesman, delivery people, invitees and visitors whilst they are on the Estate. All breach fines will be payable by the owner.
2.4 It shall at all times be the responsibility of the owner to ensure that his contractor abides by and complies with the rules and regulations set out in this Code of Conduct.

2.2 An owner builder who qualifies under clause 2.1, will be allowed to construct his own home and shall, for the purposes of this Code of Conduct, be deemed to be a contractor.
2.3 Contractors are at all times responsible for their sub-contractors and employees whilst they are on the Estate.
2.4 It shall, at all times, be the responsibility of the owner to ensure that his contractor abides by and complies with the rules and regulations set out in this Agreement.
