REGIONAL AND REMOTE. ‌ (1) The parties acknowledge the importance of regional, rural and remote jobs in delivering services to the community. (2) The parties acknowledge the Government's ongoing commitment in providing employees who reside (either permanently or temporarily) in government owned dwellings with a safe residential environment and acceptable facility standards. (3) The employer will review the Remote and Regional Locations Incentives Scheme policy in consultation with Together Queensland Union. As part of this review, the employer will commit to exploring the potential for further expanding the incentives provided under the policy and include promotion of internal transfers between regional locations. This review will commence within two months of this Agreement being certified. (4) The employer acknowledges the importance of relevant professional development and training for employees in regional, rural and remote areas, together with its greater accessibility for those employees through technology.
REGIONAL AND REMOTE. Localities In addition to the consultative requirements contained in this Appendix, the following will apply in relation to regional and remote localities: Where an agency proposes organisational change that will result in an employee who works/resides in a regional or remote locality in South Australia being declared excess, the Chief Executive, Agency Head or delegate must provide details of the proposed organisation change and affected employees to the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment prior to the implementation of the relevant organisational change and the declaration of any employee as excess to requirements.

  • County of Orange Child Support Enforcement Subrecipient certifies it is in full compliance with all applicable federal and state reporting requirements regarding its employees and with all lawfully served Wage and Earnings Assignment Orders and Notices of Assignments and will continue to be in compliance throughout the term of the Contract with the County of Orange. Failure to comply shall constitute a material breach of the Contract and failure to cure such breach within 60 calendar days of notice from the County shall constitute grounds for termination of the Contract.

  • Conduct and Removal While performing the Project, Grantee Agents must comply with applicable Contract terms, State and federal rules, regulations, HHSC’s policies, and HHSC’s requests regarding personal and professional conduct; and otherwise conduct themselves in a businesslike and professional manner. If HHSC determines in good faith that a particular Grantee Agent is not conducting himself or herself in accordance with the terms of the Contract, HHSC may provide Grantee with notice and documentation regarding its concerns. Upon receipt of such notice, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ must promptly investigate the matter and, at HHSC’s election, take appropriate action that may include removing the Grantee Agent from performing the Project.

  • PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC FREEDOM A. The personal life of a teacher shall be the concern of and warrant the review and appropriate action of the Board only: 1. As it may prevent the teacher from performing his/her assigned functions during school duty hours; 2. As it may be in violation of local, state, national, or common law. B. Each teacher will be entitled to full rights of citizenship, and no religious or political activities of any such teacher or the lack thereof will be grounds for any discipline or discrimination with respect to the professional employment of such person provided they do not affect his/her classroom performance. C. The Board and the Association agree that academic freedom is essential to the fulfillment of the purposes of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ County School System, and they acknowledge the fundamental need to protect teachers from any censorship or restraint which might interfere with their obligation to pursue the truth in the performance of their teaching functions. They agree that subject to curriculum guidelines and appropriate supervision by the teacher’s evaluator, the responsibility for teaching all appropriate material rests with the teacher. D. No student’s grade shall be changed without a conference between the student’s teacher and the administrator. After the conference, the teacher will be notified, in writing, of the administrator’s decision. In the event the student’s teacher is not available for a conference, the administrator will notify the teacher in writing of any changes in a grade.

  • Personal Appearance All teachers shall maintain dress, grooming and personal appearance consistent with their area of teaching.
