Common use of Regular Bus Routes Clause in Contracts

Regular Bus Routes. To the extent possible, regular bus routes will be equalized according to the following criteria: 1. The number of pupils; 2. Capacity of the bus; 3. Total length of time required to complete the bus route. Any bargaining unit employee may apply for any posted position. Positions will be awarded on the basis of the needs of the District, an employee’s credentials, prior work performance, seniority, number of previous transfers, and other relevant factors, including legal requirements. Shuttle runs are regularly scheduled bus routes that occur during the school day from one (1) educational facility to another educational facility. Shuttle runs will be paid at the driver's regular hourly rate for actual time driven to the nearest quarter hour.
