Remote Deposit Capture (“RDC”) Clause Samples

The Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) clause defines the terms under which a customer can deposit checks electronically by transmitting images of the checks to the bank, rather than presenting the physical items. Typically, this clause outlines the technical requirements for image quality, the responsibilities of the depositor to prevent duplicate deposits, and the bank’s rights to reject items that do not meet specified standards. By establishing clear procedures and responsibilities, the RDC clause facilitates convenient, efficient deposits while mitigating risks such as fraud or processing errors associated with remote check submission.

There is currently no charge for using RDC; should there be charges in the future, you will be given appropriate notice. Your wireless telecommunications provider for your wireless device or other third parties that you may utilize may impose fees to make that device data-capable, to exchange data between the device and the Platform, or based on the location of your use. By using the RDC service, you agree that you will be bound by the terms of this Agreement and will follow any and all other procedures and instructions for use of RDC that we may establish from time to time.‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌
