REPORTING UNSAFE OR ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR Clause Samples

The "Reporting Unsafe or Illegal Behavior" clause establishes a formal process for individuals to notify the appropriate authorities or designated parties about conduct that is dangerous or violates laws or regulations. Typically, this clause outlines the methods for reporting, such as confidential hotlines or written notifications, and may specify protections for those who report in good faith, like protection from retaliation. Its core function is to encourage prompt disclosure of unsafe or unlawful actions, thereby promoting a safer and more compliant environment within the organization or context.
