(c) The audited consolidated balance sheets and related consolidated statements of income, shareholders’ equity, comprehensive income and cash flows contained in PPG’s Registration Statement on Form S-3, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 2, 2007, have been prepared in accordance with GAAP and present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of PPG and its Consolidated Subsidiaries as of December 31, 2006 and 2005 and the results of operations and cash flows of PPG and its Consolidated Subsidiaries for each of the three fiscal years ending on December 31, 2006, 2005 and 2004.
