Section 6.7. 28 Any employee who is called back by the supervisor to report to work for any reason will receive at least 29 two (2) hours pay.
Section 6.7. 28 In the event of an unusual school closure due to inclement weather, plant inoperation or the like, the 29 District will make every effort to notify each employee to refrain from coming to work. Employees 30 reporting to work shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at base rate in the event of such a 31 closure; provided, however, that no employee shall be entitled to any compensation in the event of 32 actual notification by the District of the closure prior to leaving home for work.
Section 6.7. 20 The District may, at its sole discretion, place an employee newly hired in a position on Step 2.
Section 6.7. 37 Employees required to work at least two consecutive hours of a shift regularly filled by a higher 38 classification employee shall receive compensation at the base rate of the higher classification. (In the 39 event that the base rate of pay of the higher classification would result in a lesser hourly salary for the 40 employee, then the employee who is working in the higher classification would be paid at the lowest 41 hourly rate that would provide the employee an hourly increase in pay.) 42

Any comments from PSE will be considered prior to finalizing the calendar for 10 presentation to the board. 14 A R T I C L E V I I 16 HOURS OF WORK AND WORKING CONDITIONS 18 Section 7.1. 19 The workweek shall consist of five (5) consecutive days, Monday through Friday, followed by two (2) 20 consecutive days of rest, Saturday and Sunday; provided, however, the District may assign an 21 employee to a workweek of any five (5) consecutive days which are followed by two (2) consecutive 22 days of rest. A period of days will not be considered “consecutive” for the purposes of this section if 23 those days include any paid, or unpaid leave shift(s).
Section 6.7. 1. 41 A. Compensatory time may be accrued up to a maximum of forty (40) hours. After the 42 employee has reached the maximum allowable forty (40) hours accrued compensatory 43 time and does not use it as time off, all subsequent overtime must be paid to the employee 44 as monetary compensation. 46 B. An employee who has unused accrued compensatory time may request to use his/her 47 compensatory time and the request must be granted within a reasonable time so long as it 48 does not unduly disrupt the District’s normal operations. 2 C. Unused compensatory time due to the employee shall be paid in the September paycheck 3 for the preceding year or at the time of his/her leaving employment shall be paid to the 4 employee in his/her final paycheck if prior to year end. Records shall be maintained at 5 the building level.
