Residential Design Guidelines Clause Samples

Residential Design Guidelines. The Developer will establish Residential Design Guidelines for the Project prior to conveying any Lot within the Project property.
Residential Design Guidelines. Based on the City’s desire, the existing land use and residential planning analysis will build on the Community Character Survey conducted in Step 2 to create specific residential design guidelines that respond to the community’s preferences for housing construction. These guidelines would apply more specifically to major additions as well as teardown-infill housing construction, but could also detail a variety of urban design factors that define the “Brentwood neighborhood character,” ranging from trees, landscaping, and vegetation standards, to sidewalks, lighting, and streetscape design, to fencing, building materials, and general maintenance standards. The guidelines could be designed and published as a “standalone manual” for easy public use, but also directly integrated into the Comprehensive Plan Update’s goals, objectives, and plan chapters.
