Salary Adjustment. The salary of an employee returning from uncompensated leave shall be adjusted to reflect all non-discretionary increases distributed during the period of leave. While on such leave, an employee shall be eligible to participate in any special salary incentive programs.

Salary Adjustment. City of Rialto Classification and Compensation Table as approved by City Council. The City agrees to increase base salaries of classifications covered by this MOU in the amount of 5% effective the first pay period including July 1, 2024. Adjustment changes will be reflected in the Classification and Compensation Salary Table.
Salary Adjustment. (a) An employee assigned to a position at the same or higher level, or for training under Article 38.04, shall continue to be paid at his or her level until such time as the employee successfully completes training, at which time, the employee’s salary shall be maintained or adjusted, whichever is the case;
(b) If the assignment is to a lower level position, or for training at a lower level under Article 38.04, the employee shall be paid at the lower level and his or her salary adjusted accordingly as of the reporting date.

While on such leave, a faculty member shall be eligible to participate in any special salary incentive programs such as the Teaching Incentive Program.
Salary Adjustment. (a) The supplemental salary shall be increased or decreased by the Board from time to time as necessary so that the District Superintendent’s total salary comprised of the State of New York share and the supplemental salary equals the total combined annual salary of $176,767 for the 2019-20 school year, and such other total combined annual salary as may be established for any subsequent school year.
(b) The Board retains the right to increase the total combined annual salary of the District Superintendent during the term of his employment by the BOCES. The total combined annual salary shall not be less than that paid to the District Superintendent in any prior period. However, under no circumstances may such adjustment result in total salary exceeding the statutory salary cap prescribed by Education Law §1950(4)(2).
(c) The District Superintendent is the leader of the regional educational community and in such capacity he is expected to show such leadership in controlling and/or reducing educational costs, including salaries, if State, National and/or World economic or other conditions dictate. As such, there may be occasions when, if other BOCES employees are willing to forego wage increases, or accept a reduction in pay, that a mutual agreement may be reached between the District Superintendent and the BOCES Board to establish an appropriate reduction in his salary to help address such economic or other conditions impacting the BOCES and the local districts.
(d) Any adjustment in the supplemental salary or the total combined annual salary made during the term of the District Superintendent’s employment shall be in the form of an amendment to, and shall become a part of, this Agreement; provided, however, that by so doing, it shall not be considered that the BOCES has entered into a new agreement with the District Superintendent, nor that the termination date of this Agreement has been extended. However, the BOCES may, by specific action, amend this Agreement to extend the termination date of this Agreement if such extension is permitted by state law.
Salary Adjustment. The Employee’s Base Salary will be reviewed from time to time in accordance with the established procedures of the Company for adjusting salaries for similarly situated employees and may be adjusted in the sole discretion of the Company.
Salary Adjustment. The parties jointly agree that the base salary ranges shall be applicable for the appropriate classifications listed in Appendix B. For the purposes of this Agreement, base salary rate shall mean the hourly rate of pay established pursuant to the step placement within the base salary range as provided in this Agreement as appropriate. Employees shall be compensated in accordance with established district practices unless specifically modified by this Agreement, i.e., the hourly rate within the established range shall be divided by a factor of 1.4 to determine the fire service hourly rate base for a fifty-six (56) hour workweek. Effective the pay period following the Board of Supervisors approval of this agreement, County Fire will establish two new sub-steps below the current step 1 for all salary ranges. The spread between the steps will be maintained at approximately 2.5%. New employees shall be hired at step 1 of the established base salary range, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement. Variable entrance steps may be established if justified by recruitment needs, including lateral entries, through top step with the approval of the Fire Chief and the Director of Human Resources Director. Except for promotions, all step advancements shall be based upon one (1) step increment in the base salary range. Within the base salary range, all step advancements will be on the first day of each pay period. Approval for advancement shall be based upon satisfactory work performance and completion of required length of service in the classification and upon the recommendation of the Fire Chief. All newly hired Firefighters will be eligible for step advancement upon the completion of twenty-six (26) pay periods of satisfactory work performance. An employee whose step advancement is denied shall not be eligible for reconsideration of step advancement except as provided in the Article on “Merit Advancements.” The time required for step advancement shall be extended by any time spent on leave without pay, which exceeds fifty-six (56) hours in any pay period. The Director of Human Resources may authorize the adjustment of the salary step or salary rate of an employee to maintain salary equity within the system, to prevent undue hardship or unfairness due to the application of any rule or policy, or to correct any salary inequity or payroll error or omission including any such action which may have arisen in prior fiscal years.
