Scheduled Rest Period. 6.8.1 11 hours daily rest period: Workers should be given no less than 11 hours rest between the end of one work period and the commencement of the next.
Scheduled Rest Period. (a) The scheduled break between an individual's working periods shall be no less than 11 hours. (b) The schedule for each 7 day period shall normally include at least one scheduled rest day. The scheduling of rest days at intervals of more than 7 days should only occur where circumstances render such scheduling the only reasonable and necessary option. In such circumstances no less than two rest days shall be scheduled within a two week period (c) Where there is a breach of scheduled rest periods Producers retain the right to amend the working schedule where required in the interests of production subject to making any infringement payments. (d) Each hour worked in breach of a scheduled rest period will be paid at the individual’s overtime rate subject to the appropriate cap. (e) An Individual’s entitlement to payment for a Turnaround Period is separate to the entitlement to rest in accordance with the provisions of this Clause 7.5 (Scheduled Rest Period)
Scheduled Rest Period. CWD: b) A CWD shall be 10 working hours without a formal break or general cessation of work but allowing for a rest break of no less than 20 minutes, the timing of which shall be arranged by the Individual within their department. If overtime required on a continuous working day, a second rest/meal break of no less than 20 mins should apply on commencement of first overtime hour.   • Rest Period During each normal work day, Saturdays, Sundays, and shift work, employees will be entitled to two (2) ten (10) minute paid rest periods to be scheduled and observed. When working a four (4) day, ten (10) hour schedule, the rest period will be fifteen (15) minutes each. - one (1) rest period at the mid-way point of the first half of the normal hours of work; - one (1) rest period at the mid-point of the second half of the normal hours of work. Rest period will be measured from ceasing work to commencement of labour and will be taken at a time determined by the employer.

  • Meal and Rest Periods Employees shall receive an unpaid thirty (30) minute meal period during each regular workday and two (2) paid rest periods of fifteen (15) minutes each during each eight (8) or ten (10) hour workday. Employees who cannot be relieved of all duties shall be paid at the appropriate rate for their meal period. Meal periods and rest periods shall be administered in accordance with state law. Subject to written mutual agreement meal and/or rest periods may be combined.

  • Rest Periods All employees shall have two (2), fifteen (15) minute rest periods in each work period in excess of six (6) hours, one (1) rest period to be granted before and one (1) after the meal period. Employees working a shift of three and one-half (3½) hours, but not more than six (6) hours, shall receive one (1) rest period during such a shift. Rest periods shall not begin until one (1) hour after the commencement of work or not later than one (1) hour before either the meal period or the end of the shift. Rest periods shall be taken without loss of pay to the employees.

  • Lunch and Rest Periods ‌ A. Each employee working more than four (4) hours per day shall be entitled to a minimum of one-half (1/2) hour duty free lunch period without pay. B. Employees shall receive a fifteen (15) minute rest period during each four (4) hours of work not to exceed two (2) such breaks during a regular eight (8) hour day, whenever practicable. C. The parties agree to comply with ODE regulations.
