Common use of Scheduled Work Day Clause in Contracts

Scheduled Work Day. If an individual works on a Statutory Holiday, the individual will receive payment for regularly scheduled hours. When an employee is scheduled to work on a Statutory Holiday, the employee will be paid at one hundred and fifty percent (150%) of the regular straight-time rate for all scheduled hours of work plus an amount equal to the number of hours in their regularly scheduled shift at straight-time rate for the Statutory Holiday. Any overtime on the Statutory Holiday will be paid at one hundred and fifty percent (150%) of the regular straight-time rate.
