Scheduling Overtime. It is the Company’s intention to schedule overtime work as far in advance as practical and endeavour to meet the wishes of any employee not wishing to work overtime, consistent with customer and production requirements. It is agreed therefore that a representative of the Human Resources Department and a Union representative shall compose an Overtime Committee. Such Committee shall meet, at the request of either party, with various individuals and Departments for the purposes of determining mutually agreeable solutions to overtime scheduling problems. The Company and the Union agree that for application of Article 18.16 and 18.17, the Company will use seniority determining the employee who will be offered the overtime.
