Common use of Section 15.2.2 Clause in Contracts

Section 15.2.2. 2 If the grievance is not resolved to the employee's satisfaction within five (5) days after initial 3 discussion with the immediate supervisor in accordance with the preceding subsection, the 4 employee shall, within three (3) days after the five (5) day period, reduce to writing a statement 5 of the grievance containing the following: 7 A. The facts on which the grievance is based; 8 B. A reference to the provisions in this agreement which have been allegedly violated; 9 and 10 C. The remedy sought. 12 The employee shall submit the written statement of grievance to the immediate supervisor for 13 reconsideration and shall submit a copy to the official in the administration responsible for 14 personnel. The parties will have five (5) working days from submission of the written statement 15 of grievance to resolve it by indicating on the statement of grievance the disposition. If an 16 agreeable disposition is made, all parties to the grievance shall sign it. Any grievance not 17 submitted in writing within the time period set forth in this section shall be invalid and subject 18 to no further processing.
