Section 17.1. 32 The District will make every effort to comply with applicable safety codes set forth in Federal or State 33 law, and the employees will cooperate in the use of all safety devices. Employees will cooperate with 34 the District in the maintenance of a generally well kept area, and equipment, and attendance at required 35 safety discussions.

Section 17.1. 25 If any provision of this Agreement or the application of any such provision is held invalid, the remainder 26 of this Agreement shall not be affected thereby.

Section 17.1. 46 In determining whether an employee subject to this Agreement is eligible for participation in the 1 Washington State Public Employees’ Retirement System, the District shall report all hours worked, 2 whether straight time, overtime, or otherwise. 6 A R T I C L E X V I I I

Section 17.1. Upon written authorization of the employees of the bargaining unit, the District shall 20 deduct from the employee's monthly pay the monthly amount of dues as certified by the Secretary of 21 the Association and shall transmit such dues to the Treasurer of the Public School Employees of 22 Washington.

Section 17.1. 18 The Supervisor/Administrator shall annually meet with and evaluate each employee to discuss his/her 19 performance by the last working day of the school year. The Supervisor/Administrator will make every 20 effort to inform the employee of performance concerns as they arise. The content of the annual performance 21 appraisal is not subject to grievance. The District shall utilize the Performance Evaluation Report attached 22 hereto as Schedule B. 26 A R T I C L E X V I I I 28 SALARIES AND EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION 30 Section 18.1. 31 Employees shall receive a personalized statement consistent with the Salary Compute Sheet 32 documenting their work year information. Employees shall receive notice of changes in their sick leave 33 account on a monthly basis.

Section 17.1. 21 The term of this Agreement shall be September 1, 2016, through August 31, 2019, and shall not be 22 reopened for any reason except as follows: 24 • This agreement may be reopened and modified at any time during its term upon mutual 25 consent of the parties.

Section 17.1. Employees shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement for all 38 hours worked. Each employee shall receive a full accounting and itemization of authorized deductions, 39 hours worked, and rates paid with each pay warrant. 40
