Section 7.18 Sample Clauses

Section 7.18 the bargaining unit may be temporarily advanced to a higher paying classification during 3 times when school is not in session (Winter, Spring, and Summer break). All advancements, in 4 accordance with this Section shall be set forth in a "Supplemental Contract." Employees will suffer no 5 adverse impact on rights, benefits and privileges available to them pursuant to the Agreement.

Casual Labor positions may not be utilized to replace any 14 regular employee, as per Schedule A. However, Casual Labor positions may be employed to replace ▇ 15 regular employee, as per Schedule A, who is temporarily filling a higher classification in accordance with 16 Section 7.18 of the Agreement. All Casual Labor positions must work under the direct supervision of ▇ 17 regular classified employee, as per Schedule A.
Section 7.18. 27 Paraeducators, Nutrition Service employees, Health Room Professional, Career Center Specialist, 28 Campus Security, shall have the option of working their regularly assigned hours on up to nine (9) 29 scheduled early release days for students. These days must be scheduled with the approval of the
Section 7.18. The assigned supervisor, subject to the approval of the Superintendent, shall have the authority 22 to grant leave without pay for periods of five (5) days or less.
