Section 7.7.1 Sample Clauses

Section 7.7.1. 38 If a trip is cancelled or rescheduled after the driver has left their home the District agrees to pay 39 the employee two hours of pay at their normal rate of pay for the inconvenience. If the trip is 40 canceled the driver will be entitled to the next trip available. If a trip’s leave time is changed, 41 the assigned driver has the option to decline the trip as long as a replacement driver can be 42 secured. If a replacement driver cannot be secured, the original driver must take the trip.
Section 7.7.1. 25 All hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week for full-time 26 employees shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1½) times the employee's base 27 pay. Anyone working four (4) ten-hour shifts shall receive overtime pay after the tenth (10th) 28 hour in one day.
Section 7.7.1. 22 Employees will be provided appropriate training with written guidelines and supervision if 23 assigned to prepare approved food products to meet an individual student’s needs. 25 Employees assigned to prepare special meals will be given additional preparation time to ensure 26 quality control as determined by the Director of Nutrition Services or Administrative Designee.

Section 7.7.1. Drivers shall have the opportunity to drive in place of an absent driver when that work does not 16 conflict with their regularly assigned school bus driving or regularly assigned work in other 18 begin at the beginning of the year with the most senior driver. Drivers wishing to perform this 19 type of work must sign the rotation list to be eligible. Drivers may request their names be 20 added to the rotation, provided that the requesting driver will not be eligible for this type of 21 work until a full rotation has been completed. Drivers who pass on this type of work five (5) 22 consecutive times will be removed from the rotation unless the Transportation Director 23 determines that the driver’s reasons for passing are legitimate. 25 Driver’s assigned routes with less than forty (40) hours per week will have the opportunity to 26 work in other classifications when needed; however, drivers will not be awarded work that 27 conflicts with assigned positions in other classifications. 29 Drivers shall be paid for all their scheduled time regardless if a portion of their route time based 30 on the most current sign ▇▇▇ is canceled. If a portion of the route is canceled, then the 31 supervisor has the right to find other work for the employee to do.
Section 7.7.1. In the event an extra trip is canceled and the driver awarded the extra trip is unable to pick up 24 the time lost from his runs he would have done had he not received the extra trip, then the 25 employee shall receive compensation for the time lost from those other runs. Section 7.7.1. During the contract period the Union shall be allowed up to ten (10) days (80 hours) per year of 5 Union release time for Union business. The Union will pay for all sub costs associated with 6 such release time. 8 Section 7.8. Leave of Absence.
Section 7.7.1. 39 Employees who report late for work or leave early due to conditions spelled out in Section 7.7. 40 will be required to make up the time on a straight-time basis as mutually agreed by the 41 supervisor and employee.
