Common use of Section 8.1.3 Clause in Contracts

Section 8.1.3. 16 If the holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, the preceding Friday or the succeeding Monday may be 17 assigned as the employee’s holiday. If school is in session on the Friday or Monday, then another 18 day mutually agreeable by the parties shall be selected for the holiday.
