Section 9.2.3. 47 It is mutually agreed that vacations shall be scheduled at the request of the employee, in 48 consultation with the supervisor.
Section 9.2.3. 30 All hours for which an employee is paid will be counted as hours worked in the computation of 31 credit, and hours worked at premium rates shall be counted as straight time hours in such 32 computation.
Section 9.2.3. Upon completion of the seventh (7th) year of employment each grandfathered employee will be 13 granted sixteen (16) days of vacation. Upon completion of the eighth (8th) year of 14 employment, each grandfathered employee will be granted seventeen (17) days of vacation.
Section 9.2.3. 29 Employees on health leave shall have the right to retain the seniority they had before going on leave.
Section 9.2.3. 41 The employee with the earliest hire date shall have preferential rights regarding shift selection, 42 vacation periods, special services (including overtime) and layoff. The employee with the 43 earliest hire date shall have preferential rights regarding promotions, assignment to new or open 44 jobs or positions, and layoffs when ability and performance are substantially equal with junior 45 employees. If the District determines that seniority rights should not govern because a junior 47 the District shall set forth in writing to the employee(s) and the Association President, its 48 reasons why the senior employee(s) has been bypassed.
Section 9.2.3. Any employee returning from health leave shall be assigned to the same position, or, if not 3 available, at least an equivalent position. Such employee shall retain all rights, seniority, and 4 benefits commonly afforded employees on leave without pay.
Section 9.2.3. “day” is defined as being equal to the number of hours in the employee’s regularly assigned 32 shift.
Section 9.2.3. 16 Employees on health leave shall have the right to retain the seniority they had before going on 17 leave. In addition, the employee shall have the opportunity to continue to participate in the 18 District’s health plan according to COBRA rules.
Section 9.2.3. 5 At the time of separation from school district employment due to retirement or death, an eligible 6 employee or the employee's estate shall receive remuneration at a rate equal to one (1) day's 7 current monetary compensation for each four (4) full days accrued leave for illness or injury.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.
