Section 9.7.3. 5 The FMLA leave may be taken: (a) because of the birth of a child and to care for a newborn child, 6 (b) because of the placement of a child with the employee for adoption or ▇▇▇▇▇▇ care, or (c) to care 7 for a child or a spouse or parent who has a serious health condition, or (d) because of the 8 employee's own serious health condition. If both parents of the child are employed by the District, 9 they together are entitled to a total of twelve (12) weeks of leave, and leave may be granted to only 10 one parent at a time.
