Section 9.7.5. 46 The District shall have the absolute right to hire the most senior employee applicant without 47 regard to procedure.
Section 9.7.5. 10 When the District’s staffing needs warrant additional PAEOP support of two (2) hours or less per 11 day, normally, the District shall add the hours to a current employee in that building or program, 12 providing no employee exceeds eight (8) hours per day. However, principals may elect to bank the 13 hours for use later in the school year (budgeted at an average PAEOP hourly rate), or post and fill 14 the hours (paid as Office Support, Level A, Step 1).
Section 9.7.5. 44 The maximum number of employee personal leave days granted on any single day shall be 45 limited to 5% of the employees in that classification. Personal leave may be extended to 46 additional employees with approval from the human resources office. Personal leave requests 47 made before August 31 for the ensuing year shall be approved in order of seniority on or before 48 the first student day. Requests made after that date shall be on a first come-first served basis. 1 The district reserves the right to deny personal leave to transportation employees if all available 2 licensed transportation employees are already being utilized.
Section 9.7.5. Any employee who terminates employment shall receive payment for unused personal time 25 prorated to their separation date with their final paycheck. 26

  • Section 10.11 41 An employee shall forfeit rights to reemployment as provided in Section 10.9. if the employee does not 42 comply with the requirements of Section 10.10., or if the employee does not respond to the offer of 43 reemployment within fifteen (15) days.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.
