Service Provider Relationship Sample Clauses
The Service Provider Relationship clause defines the nature of the relationship between the parties, typically clarifying that the service provider is acting as an independent contractor rather than an employee or agent. This clause often outlines that the service provider is responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and insurance, and that neither party has authority to bind the other in contracts or obligations. Its core function is to prevent misunderstandings about employment status and legal liability, ensuring both parties understand their rights and responsibilities in the business arrangement.
