Shift Work Schedules. Shift Work is a shift that starts at any time from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The day on which the shift starts determines the day of the week of the shift (i.e., a shift starting at 11:00 p.m. on Friday is a Friday shift).
