Sick Leave Conversion Option Sample Clauses
The Sick Leave Conversion Option clause allows employees to convert unused sick leave into another form of benefit, such as additional vacation days, cash compensation, or retirement credit. Typically, this clause outlines the eligibility criteria, the conversion rate, and any limits on the amount of sick leave that can be converted within a given period. Its core practical function is to provide employees with flexibility in how they use their accrued sick leave, while also incentivizing good attendance and reducing the financial liability of unused leave for employers.
