Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements. 7.8.1 This requirement shall apply to all occupations performing work pursuant to a Construction Contract, which is an "Apprenticeable occupation" as defined below, which is in conformance with California Public Contract Code section 260l(a). 7.8.2 For the application ofthis Section 7.8, the following definitions shall apply:
Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements. Contractor/Employers understand that with regard to both lease-leaseback projects (Education Code section 17406, et. seq.), design-build projects (Education Code section 17250.10, et. seq.), and as otherwise required by law, they are required to comply with the skilled and trained workforce requirements set forth in Public Contract Code section 2601.
Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements. 10.1 Requirements Under Public Contract Code section 2600. Design Builder has reviewed Public Contract Code section 2600 et seq. in its entirety and will ensure that Design Builder and its Subcontractors will use a "skilled and trained workforce" to perform all Construction Work on the Project that falls within an "apprenticeable occupation" in the building and construction trades.
Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements. This Subsection 10.6.2 shall not apply if either: (i) the District has entered into a project labor agreement (as defined in Public Contract Code Section 2500) that will bind all contractors and subcontractors of every tier performing any of the Work to use a skilled and trained workforce, and the Contractor agrees to become bound by such project labor agreement; or (ii) the Contractor is a party to a project labor agreement that will bind the Contractor and each of its subcontractors of every tier performing any of the Work to use a skilled and trained workforce. Absent this Subsection being inapplicable for either of the foregoing reasons, then, to the extent the Project is subject to Education Code Section 17407.5, the Contractor shall be solely responsible and liable for ensuring compliance by it and each of its Subcontractors of every tier with the requirements of Section 17407.5 to perform the Work using a “skilled and trained workforce” as defined in Public Contract Code Section 2601, including, without limitation, as any such requirements progressively take effect over time. The Contractor’s commitment to perform the Work using a skilled and trained workforce shall be enforceable as follows:
Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements. For those projects subject to the Skilled and Trained Workforce requirements imposed by California Public Contracts Code Sections 2600 et seq., in relation to certain public works projects, attached hereto and incorporated into this Subcontract is ADDENDUM E, including its Attachments A – C. Subcontractor is bound by the provisions of “ADDENDUM E” and shall comply with its requirements and properly fill out, date, sign and timely submit the reporting forms included as Attachments.
Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements. Company agrees to use a skilled and trained workforce pursuant to the requirements of the State of California Public Contract Code 22164(b)(4)(c).
Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements. If and to the extent any portion of the Preconstruction Services falls within an apprenticeable occupation as contemplated by Education Code Section 17407.5, the Contractor shall use a skilled and trained workforce to perform such portion of the Preconstruction Services consistent with Subsection 10.6.2

  • Overtime requirements No contractor or subcontractor contracting for any part of the contract work which may require or involve the employment of laborers or mechanics shall require or permit any such laborer or mechanic in any workweek in which he or she is employed on such work to work in excess of forty hours in such workweek unless such laborer or mechanic receives compensation at a rate not less than one and one-half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of forty hours in such workweek.

  • Personnel Requirements a. The CONTRACTOR shall secure, at the CONTRACTOR'S own expense, all personnel required to perform this Contract. b. The CONTRACTOR shall ensure that the CONTRACTOR'S employees or agents are experienced and fully qualified to engage in the activities and perform the services required under this Contract, and that all applicable licensing and operating requirements imposed or required under federal, state, or county law, and all applicable accreditation and other standards of quality generally accepted in the field of the activities of such employees and agents are complied with and satisfied.

  • SPECIALIZED SERVICE REQUIREMENTS In the event that the Participating Entity requires service or specialized performance requirements not addressed in this Contract (such as e- commerce specifications, specialized delivery requirements, or other specifications and requirements), the Participating Entity and the Supplier may enter into a separate, standalone agreement, apart from this Contract. Sourcewell, including its agents and employees, will not be made a party to a claim for breach of such agreement.

  • Training Requirements Grantee will: A. Authorize and require staff (including volunteers) to attend training, conferences, and meetings as directed by DSHS. B. Appropriately budget funds to meet training requirements in a timely manner, and ensure staff and volunteers are trained as specified in the training requirements listed at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/hivstd/training/ and as otherwise specified by DSHS. Grantee shall document that these training requirements are met. C. Follow the appropriate DSHS POPS by funding opportunity (as per Section I: General Requirements for All Grantees) for training and observation requirements.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.
