SKILLS UPGRADING. An employee who participates in an upgrading or skills enhancing program at the request of the Employer will have their salary maintained by the Employer to its’ regular earnings level and shall accumulate full seniority during the period of the training program. APPENDIX E‌

SKILLS UPGRADING. 1) Where the Company requires an employee to upgrade their skills in order to operate or maintain new equipment, the cost of such required training shall be paid by the Company and the employee shall be paid for the time of such training falling outside of their normal working hours at their straight time rate of pay. 2) The Company will reimburse the cost of the renewal fees for the OFA license once the course has been completed and successful in obtaining OFA certification. Approximate cost is seventy-five dollars ($75.00) at this time. 3) It is the employee’s responsibility to maintain their threshold qualification of Employment and be responsible for any costs and time off associated with Obtaining the renewal of OFA certificate 3,2,1. 4) The Company is only responsible for the cost if it demands an employee who did not have this threshold qualification. 5) Certification must be complete prior to expiry date of ticket. 6) The Company will continue to assist in the financing of the course for employees who have + one thousand nine hundred and twenty (1920) hours and are scheduled for + one hundred and twenty-eight (128) hours per month by providing an advance made payable to the place of instruction. 7) The Company has the right to refuse if monies are not available. 8) A minimum two hundred and fifty dollar ($250.00) deposit in advance and bi- weekly deduction of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) until paid. 9) If an employee is working less than one hundred and twenty-eight (128) hours per month, they must demonstrate ability to repay. 10) In the event that an employee takes a Leave of Absence, quits or is terminated, all monies are due immediately.
SKILLS UPGRADING. (a) Where the Company requires employees to upgrade their skills in order to operate or maintain new equipment, the cost of such required training shall be paid by the Company and the employee shall be paid for the time of such training falling outside of their normal working hours at their straight time rate of pay. All employees who require training to operate or maintain new equipment shall be trained by a certified trainer provided by the Company. No employee will operate any new equipment without proper training. All employees will have documentation or be documented showing that they have been trained up to the standards set out by the Company. Proper training means all material that relates to the new equipment and hands on experience with the new operating equipment. (b) In cases where a driver is asked to participate in some additional or remedial training due to preventable collisions/incidents, such training shall be undertaken at the Driver’s normal hourly rate for each hour spent in training.

  • Upgrading You may request an Upgrade. For purposes of an Upgrade request, each individual who constitutes the Depositor under the agreement for Retail Direct Services is considered a required Signing Officer for purposes of acceptance of the Upgrade, and You agree to ensure that each such individual agrees to the Upgrade and accepts the terms of this Agreement before initiating the Upgrade request. Implementation of an Upgrade is subject to the approval of the Financial Institution. a) if Transactions under Direct Services for Small Business require two Signing Officers to authorize, a Signing Officer who has provided evidence of acceptance of this Agreement can view the Account using an Access Terminal, but cannot use Direct Services for Small Business as set out in this Agreement until at least one other required Signing Officer has evidenced their acceptance of this Agreement to Us; or b) if Transactions under Direct Services for Small Business require one Signing Officer to authorize, a Signing Officer who has provided evidence of acceptance of this Agreement can use Direct Services for Small Business as set out in this Agreement. When evidence of this Agreement being accepted by the required number of Signing Officers has been provided to Us, this Agreement will no longer be Provisionally Accepted, the Upgrade will be complete, and this article 3, Upgrading, will no longer apply. We may, in Our sole discretion, revert to the pre-Upgrade status if evidence of acceptance of this Agreement by all required Signing Officers is not provided in a timely manner as required.

  • Grading The coarse aggregate as delivered to the mixer, shall be well graded as per IS specifications. Maximum size of aggregate used for the work shall be 20mm or 40mm or as specified in items in the bill of quantities and it shall confirm to IS: 383-1970, clause 4.2 (Table-2) However, the exact gradation required to produce a dense concrete of specified strength and desired workability shall be decided as per laboratory test by the Engineer.   • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If WCS chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, WCS’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by WCS to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG. 9.2.2 WCS shall establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks pursuant to applicable access Tariffs by which it will provide Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic to and from WCS’s Customers. 9.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be two-way trunks. Such trunks shall connect the End Office WCS utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow WCS’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.

  • Start-Up and Synchronization Consistent with the mutually acceptable procedures of the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer is responsible for the proper synchronization of the Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System in accordance with NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner procedures and requirements.

  • Commissioning Commissioning tests of the Interconnection Customer’s installed equipment shall be performed pursuant to applicable codes and standards. The ISO and Connecting Transmission Owner must be given at least five Business Days written notice, or as otherwise mutually agreed to by the Parties, of the tests and may be present to witness the commissioning tests.
