Soils and Foundation Investigations. The CITY may authorize ENGINEER to direct an approved Testing Laboratory to perform subsurface borings and soils investigations for the PROJECT, which shall be reported in the format and detail required by the City Engineer for the City of Wichita. The Testing Laboratory shall be responsible for the accuracy and compe- tence of their work. The ENGINEER'S contract with the Testing Laboratory shall provide that the Testing Laboratory is responsible to the City for the accuracy and competence of the Testing Laboratory’s work. If required the cost of soils and boring investigations shall be prepared as a supplemental agreement between City of Wichita and the ENGINEER. This may be required for bridges, structures, retaining walls and other locations.

  • Compliance Investigations Upon City’s request, Contractor agrees to provide to City, within sixty calendar days, a truthful and complete list of the names of all subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers that Contractor has used in the past five years on any of its contracts that were undertaken within San Diego County, including the total dollar amount paid by Contractor for each subcontract or supply contract. Contractor further agrees to fully cooperate in any investigation conducted by City pursuant to City's Nondiscrimination in Contracting Ordinance. Contractor understands and agrees that violation of this clause shall be considered a material breach of the Contract and may result in Contract termination, debarment, and other sanctions.
