Special Processes. There are no special processes.
Special Processes. Suppliers providing special processing must maintain a system for validating processes similar to that of a NADCAP program, or other system as required by purchase order.
Special Processes. Special processes must be assessed and documented accordingly by the supplier once a year according to AIAG CQI. The documentation must be made available to the LEIBER Group on request. Special processes are production processes where the quality of the generated products can only be verified by a destructive test. For example: Heat treatment, surface coating.
Special Processes a. Supplier shall provide certifications for all special processes and non-destructive test results performed with each shipment. The certificate shall identify the processor, process used, controlling specification & revision, and the results of test or measurement performed. Supplier used shall be an STS and/or customer approved source for said processes. These include operations subject to process controls such as: coating, joining, heat treating, cleaning, non-destructive test, etc. The supplier shall be approved as per above to perform specific required special processes or use special process vendors acceptable STS Mod Center.
Special Processes. 6.1. For physical, metallurgical, chemical properties of materials, as well as regulations, the supplier should provide a Certificate of Conformance (CoC) with a format provided by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ (Form QS-4-132). Certificates shall reference applicable ▇▇▇▇▇▇ part numbers, revisions, lot numbers, PO number, etc. Examples of product attributes or processing steps that require certification include but are not limited to: • Welding • Heat Treatment • Plating • Painting • UL • RoHS • REACH • ATEX • WEE
Special Processes i) Special processes shall be defined as Painting, Anodizing, Plating, Chemical Finishing, soldering, gluing etc.
ii) The Suppliers who perform Special Processing for the Buyer shall ensure that the required special processes are conducted in accordance with the drawing and/or specification requirements and that competent qualified personnel perform all special processes.
iii) The supplier shall provide a Certificate of Conformity (CofC’s) with every order certifying that the parts were processed in accordance with the drawing and/or specification requirements.

Special Processes. Seller and its sub-tiers shall notify iRF if any special processes are to be performed under this purchase order. Special processes are when a product undergoes a physical, chemical, or metallurgical transformation or when conformance to all specifications cannot be verified by normal inspection methods. Special processes include welding, brazing, soldering, plating, heat treating, magnetic particle and penetrant inspection, etc.
