STAGE MANAGERS AND ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. (A) Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers shall be employed on Equity contracts. (B) There shall be at least one Stage Manager (“SM”) for each production. The SM shall be engaged at least one week before the beginning of rehearsal and shall receive at least one week's contractual salary before rehearsals begin. Weekly reports must be filed for the SM’s pre-production weeks. SM’s shall not be permitted to act except in an emergency. Stage Managers shall not be permitted to understudy. (C) There shall be at least one Assistant Stage Manager (“ASM”) in each production. The Stage Manager shall be consulted in the hiring of the Assistant Stage Manager. On musical productions, the ASM shall be engaged at least two days before the beginning of rehearsal and shall receive at least two days’ rehearsal salary before rehearsals begin. On all other productions the ASM shall be engaged at least one day before the beginning of rehearsal and shall receive at least one day’s rehearsal salary before rehearsals begin. (D) The Assistant Stage Manager may participate as necessary in scene shifts (without additional compensation) only to the extent that such participation does not interfere with the ASM’s primary duties. Set or prop moves which are inherently hazardous due to location on stage, weights or the set piece or prop, construction, pyrotechnic or electrical effects, proximity to machinery or simultaneous movement of other scenery or effects shall not be undertaken by the Stage Manager or Assistant Stage Manager without the express consent of Equity. (E) The SM or ASM shall not perform any stage managerial duties of any nature for a Producer without a signed contract (after security has been properly posted with Equity) and instructions from the Producer as to the work. (1) The contractual compensation agreed upon between any SM or ASM and the Producer shall be paid from the time the SM is first called. (2) However, should the Producer require the Stage Manager to perform any stage managerial duties in a production any time prior to the week before rehearsals begin, or require the ASM to perform any stage managerial duties in a production any time prior to the week rehearsals begin, the Producer shall pay the SM and/or ASM at the rate of no less than one-sixth of contractual s...

STAGE MANAGERS AND ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. Section One, Thirteenth, E(b) and Section Two, Seventh E(2)(a), Seventh, F(3), Seventh, F(4), Seventh F(5)(a), and Seventh G of the 2011-2014 Collective Bargaining Agreement shall be modified to include Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers.
STAGE MANAGERS AND ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. ‌ 1. The position of Stage Manager will not be considered an entry-level position. Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers, as required, must be signed to Equity contracts. 2. There will be at least one Stage Manager for each production who will not be permitted to act, understudy, or serve as Dance Captain. The Stage Manager will be engaged, and contractual salary will start, no later than one week prior to the first day of rehearsal. 3. A required Assistant Stage Manager(s) will be subject to negotiation. Such Assistant Stage Manager(s) must be signed to an Equity Contract and contractual salary and benefits will begin no later than two days prior to the first day of rehearsals. 4. For any production that does not require an Assistant Stage Manager on Equity contract as specified above, the Producer will engage at least one assistant stage manager who need not be signed to an Equity contract and whose sole function during rehearsal and performance will be to assist the Stage Manager. The Producer will consult the Stage Manager in the selection of the assistant stage manager(s). Any assistant stage manager must begin work no later than two days prior to rehearsal. 5. The Stage Manager’s or Assistant Stage Manager's duties will not be performed by anyone other than a Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager or assistant stage manager not signed to an Equity contract. 6. PRE- AND POST-PRODUCTION. Should the Producer request and the Stage Manager and/or Assistant Stage Manager agree to perform any work (i.e. meetings, generating paperwork, etc.) on a production any time prior to the required first date of employment or after the production has closed, the Producer must pay the Stage Manager or Assistant Stage Manager at the rate of no less than the prorated portion of contractual salary for each day or part thereof of employment and a rider detailing such arrangements will be attached to the Stage Manager’s contract. 7. TECH-WEEK INCREMENT. See IV.E.4
STAGE MANAGERS AND ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. A. The EMPLOYER agrees to engage at least one (1) Stage Manager and one Assistant Stage Manager. B. Whenever a Stage Manager or Assistant Stage Manager misses a company Free Day and is required to work he/she shall be paid in accordance with Paragraph 20 (D) or, at his/her option, be given a compensatory free day. C. Stage Managers shall be engaged at least one (1) week prior to the first day of rehearsals for the Production and Assistant Stage Managers shall be engaged not later than the first day of rehearsals for the Production. D. Unless otherwise specifically provided for herein, with regard to customary Stage Manager duties, all terms and conditions applicable to ARTISTS pursuant to this Agreement shall also be applicable to Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers.
STAGE MANAGERS AND ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. The following provisions shall apply to Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers. a. The EMPLOYER agrees to engage at least one (1) Stage Manager if the company consists of ten (10) or more Dancers. b. Assistant Stage Managers may be engaged on a weekly basis in accordance with the production needs of the EMPLOYER as determined by the EMPLOYER for each season. c. For any performance programs or events that require fewer than ten (10) dancers, or for tours or festivals where outside stage managers are provided, the EMPLOYER will provide information concerning the performance program or event at the regular or a specially called Joint Committee meeting. The EMPLOYER agrees to meet and confer over whether PB Stage Manager(s) are needed. d. Subject to the terms of Paragraph 10 as to the timing of contract offers or notice of non- reengagement, Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers shall be employed upon AGMA Individual Artist Agreements and receive all Retirement and Health benefits in this Agreement. e. Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers shall be engaged with a start date at the beginning of each season to be set by the EMPLOYER based on the production schedule. f. Whenever a Stage Manager or an Assistant Stage Manager misses a company Free Day and is required to work or travel, they shall receive a compensatory Free Day off either six (6) weeks prior to or six (6) weeks after the missed Free Day. However, the Stage Manager and the Assistant Stage Manager shall receive a Free Day occurring no later than the tenth (10th) day following the immediately preceding Free Day. g. Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers shall be compensated as provided in Paragraph 20 of this Agreement. h. If Stage Managers or Assistant Stage Managers are required to appear outside the City of Origination, the EMPLOYER will provide them with a hotel room and meal money as provided in Paragraph 60. i. Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers shall have the same legal holidays as the dancers. j. Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers shall be paid overtime if required to work more than four (4) hours without a meal break of one (1) hour or more than seven (7) hours in a day during Performance Weeks. k. During non-theater or prep weeks, Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers may incur overtime only when approved by the EMPLOYER. l.   • Project Managers The JBE’s project manager is: [Insert name]. The JBE may change its project manager at any time upon notice to Contractor without need for an amendment to this Agreement. Contractor’s project manager is: [Insert name]. Subject to written approval by the JBE, Contractor may change its project manager without need for an amendment to this Agreement.

  • Alliance Managers Promptly following the Effective Date, each Party will designate an alliance manager to be reasonably available to the other Party to facilitate communication, respond to questions and otherwise oversee that the Parties’ activities hereunder are in line with this Agreement. Such alliance managers will regularly interact with each other on a frequency to be mutually agreed by the Parties and on an ad hoc basis if requested by the Joint Project Team or the Project Leaders. A Party may replace its alliance manager at any time by written notice to the other Party.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Contract Managers Each party will designate a Contract Manager during the term of this Agreement whose responsibility shall be to oversee the party’s performance of its duties and obligations pursuant to the terms of this Agreement. The Citizens’ Contract Manager may designate other authorized individuals to participate in overseeing the Firm’s performance hereunder.   • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Union Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Union, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement. (b) The Committee shall meet every two (2) months unless otherwise agreed and as required under Article 8.01 (a) (iv). The duties of chair and secretary shall alternate between the parties. Where possible, agenda items will be exchanged in writing at least five (5) calendar days prior to the meeting. A record shall be maintained of matters referred to the Committee and the recommended disposition, if any, unless agreed to the contrary. Copies of the record shall be provided to Committee members. (c) The purpose of the Committee includes: i) promoting and providing effective and meaningful communication of information and ideas, including but not limited to workload measurement tools and the promotion of best practices. Such communication may include discussion of nursing workload measurement and patient acuity systems. The Hospital will provide, upon request, information on workload measurement systems applicable to nursing currently used by the Hospital, and evaluations completed by the Hospital of such systems. ii) reviewing professional responsibility complaints with a view to identifying trends and sharing organizational successes and solutions, making joint recommendations on matters of concern including the quality and quantity of nursing care and discussing the development and implementation of quality initiatives; iii) making joint recommendations to the Chief Nursing Officer on matters of concern regarding recurring workload issues including the development of staffing guidelines, the use of agency nurses and use of overtime; iv) dealing with complaints referred to it in accordance with the provisions of Article 8, Professional Responsibility; v) discussing and reviewing matters relating to orientation and in- service programs; vi) promote the creation of full-time positions for nurses, and discuss the effect of such changes on the employment status of the nurses. This may include the impact, if any, on part-time and full-time, job sharing and retention and recruitment. (d) The Hospital agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the Union attending at such meetings. (e) Where a Committee representative designated by the Union attends Committee meetings outside of her or his regularly scheduled hours, she or he will be paid for all time spent in attendance at such meetings at her or his regular straight time hourly rate of pay. Such payment shall be limited to two (2) Committee representatives per meeting.
