STANDARD TEACHER CONTRACT. The Standard teacher’s contract shall consist of one hundred and eighty-eight (188) teaching and/or in-service days plus holidays. When necessary the Superintendent may assign the academic counselor to work outside the standard contract above and he may request that teachers work outside the standard contract above in order to work on the scheduling of students prior to the beginning of the school year. Leave cash-out will be calculated at a rate of 1/1954 of the contracted annual salary. The parties have agreed to convene a Labor-Management Committee (“LMC”) prior to the end of academic year 2025 to identify a plan for eliminating Saturday school sessions that does not result in extending the academic calendar, increasing operating costs, or otherwise causing administrative hardship. If the LMC is still working to identify such a plan by the effective date of this Agreement, the LMC shall be re-convened prior to the end of academic year 2026. The LMC shall consist of the Superintendent and two (2) management representatives, and the President of the Association and two (2) bargaining unit members. Upon identifying a viable plan for eliminating Saturday school, the LMC is authorized to present it to the MEHS Calendar Committee, or another group authorized to make a decision about Saturday school, for consideration by other stakeholders and a decision on implementation. Approved time spent in meetings will not be charged to personal leave nor Association business leave. This committee will have no power to contravene any provisions of this Agreement, nor to enter into any agreements binding the parties, or resolve issues or disputes surrounding the implementation or interpretation ...
STANDARD TEACHER CONTRACT. A standard classroom teacher's contract shall consist of 188 days to begin not before August 15 and end not later than June 10, except that teachers in their first year in the District, including teachers who may have worked for the District in the past, may be required to work a 190-day contract at the discretion of the District. This will include one hundred eighty (180) days in session and three (3) work days, and five (5) or six (6) paid school holidays. Teachers within the District shall work thirty-seven and one-half (37 ½) hours perweek. B. All Teachers directly involved in classroom instruction shall have, where practical, the equivalent of at least fifty-five (55) minutes of preparation time in uninterrupted segments no smaller than twenty-five (25) minutes each school day. Preparation time shall not be assigned to other duties without the consent of the teacher. In addition, teachers may also use time during which their classes are receiving instruction from various certificated personnel for preparation time.

  • MASTER CONTRACT This Master Contract is entered into this 1st day of July, 2014, between Westlake Charter Schools (hereinafter referred to as “LEA”) and CARE Educational Services (hereinafter referred to as “CONTRACTOR”) for the purpose of providing special education and/or related services to LEA students with exceptional needs under the authorization of California Education Code sections 56157, 56361 and 56365 et seq. and Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations section 3000 et seq., AB490 (Chapter 862, Statutes of 2003) and AB1858 (Chapter 914, Statutes of 2004). It is understood that this agreement does not commit LEA to pay for special education and/or related services provided to any LEA student, or CONTRACTOR to provide such special education and/or related services, unless and until an authorized LEA representative approves the provision of special education and/or related services by CONTRACTOR. Upon acceptance of a LEA student, CONTRACTOR shall submit to LEA an Individual Services Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “ISA”) and a Nonpublic Services Student Enrollment form as specified in the LEA Procedures. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these forms shall acknowledge CONTRACTOR’s obligation to provide all services specified in the student’s Individualized Education Plan (hereinafter referred to as “IEP”). The ISA shall be executed within ninety (90) days of an LEA student’s enrollment. ▇▇▇ and CONTRACTOR shall enter into an ISA for each LEA student served by CONTRACTOR. As available and appropriate, the LEA shall make available access to any electronic IEP system and /or electronic data base for ISA developing including invoicing. Unless placement is made pursuant to an Office of Administrative Hearings (hereinafter referred to as “OAH”) order, a lawfully executed agreement between LEA and parent or authorized by ▇▇▇ for a transfer student pursuant to California Education Code section 56325, ▇▇▇ is not responsible for the costs associated with nonpublic agency placement until the date on which an IEP team meeting is convened, the IEP team determines that a nonpublic agency placement is appropriate, and the IEP is signed by the LEA student’s parent.

  • Service Contract The Parties intend this Agreement to be a “service contract” within the meaning of Section 7701(e)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Purchaser will not take the position on any tax return or in any other filings suggesting that it is anything other than a purchase of electricity from the System.

  • Attachment C, Standard State Provisions for Contracts and Grants Attachment C is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced by the Attachment C December 15, 2017 attached to this Amendment. Child Support (Applicable to natural persons only; not applicable to corporations, partnerships or LLCs). Contractor is under no obligation to pay child support or is in good standing with respect to or in full compliance with a plan to pay any and all child support payable under a support order as of the date of this amendment.
