Common use of Statutory Pay Clause in Contracts

Statutory Pay. Every member who is required to work on a day so designated as a statutory holiday, as per the Employment Standards Act, shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2) for the time so worked and subject to Article 13, if the member would have otherwise qualified for a holiday, one (1) day off in lieu, either before or after the holiday.
