Stewards. (a) Each As part of the referral process of Article 3, above, each signatory local Union shall have the right to dispatch designate a working journeyperson as a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for each shift, and shall notify the Contractor in the writing of the identity of the designated ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or stewards prior to the assumption of such person's ’s duties as ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. Such designated ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or stewards shall not exercise any supervisory functions. There will be no non- non-working stewards. Stewards will receive the regular rate of pay for their respective craftscraft.
(b) In addition to his/her work as an employee, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ should ▇, if directed by their Union Representative, shall have the right to receive, but not to solicit, complaints or grievances and to discuss and assist in the adjustment of the same with the employee's ’s appropriate supervisor. Each ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ should be concerned only with the employees of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇'’▇ Contractor and, if applicable, subcontractor(s), and not with the employees of any other Contractorcontractor. The Contractor will not discriminate against the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ in the proper performance of his/her Union union duties.
(c) When a Contractor has multiple, non-contiguous work locations at one site, the Contractor may request and the Union union shall appoint such additional working stewards as the Contractor requests may request to provide independent coverage of one or more such locations. In such cases, a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may not service more than one work location without the approval of the Contractor.
