Student Behaviour. In the vein of “it takes a village to raise a child”, etiquette and decorum are expected and required of all team members at all times.
Student Behaviour. 6.1 All students attending Summer School must agree to and abide by the Student Rules (Summer School), which are available on the website, the online portal and in the Student Handbook. The Summer School reserves the right to send home any student who breaks these rules. The student will be sent home at the Parentsexpense and fees will not be refunded. The Summer School’s decision will be final and, due to the short length of the course, there is no right to appeal. However, parents may refer to the Summer School’s Complaints Policy which is available on the website and online portal. 6.2 If Summer School staff suspect that a Student has broken Summer School rules or has been involved in any illegal activity, the Student may be questioned, and his/her accommodation or belongings may be searched in appropriate circumstances. All reasonable care will be taken to protect the Student’s rights and freedoms and to ensure that the Parent is informed as soon as reasonably practical after it becomes clear that the Student may face formal disciplinary action.
Student Behaviour. 7.1 Students are required to uphold the School’s values and to abide by the School’s rules, regulations and policies as they apply from time to time, including the Student Code of Conduct. 7.2 Parents/guardians agree to support their child in meeting these expectations. 7.3 Action may be taken against a student who fails to meet the School’s expectations. Such action may include suspension or expulsion of a student. 7.4 Any wilful damage to school property or belongings will be invoiced to the student and their family. If this is ever the case, we suggest that students use their pocket money or complete work/tasks around the home to provide the means with which to pay the ▇▇▇▇.
Student Behaviour. A. THE EDGE CLINIC students are not allowed to use or be in possession of any unlawful properties or substances. Should any such property or substance be found on any student or in their belongings, THE EDGE CLINIC have the right to immediately exclude them from the programme and are not responsible for their repatriation and all costs thereof. B. THE EDGE CLINIC reserves the right to exclude any student who is acting in a manner that is deemed to be dangerous, inappropriate or damaging to the reputation of the company. C. THE EDGE CLINIC reserves the right to exclude any student who is intoxicated.

The process is designed to tackle student group behaviour concerns quickly, fairly and consistently. The Union has an independent code of conduct for individual student members, applied in relation to student behaviour on Union premises or whilst participating in the Union’s activities and services. The Union shares the details of serious and significant student behaviour incidents in accordance with the joint investigation process.
Student Behaviour. 7.1 If the Student does not follow the Summer School’s Code of Conduct and Rules – available on the website or direct from the Summer School office - or behaves in any way deemed unacceptable by the Summer School senior management team, the Summer School reserve the right to both discipline that Student and/or send the Student home immediately, with no refund of fees and at the cost of the Parent. 7.2 The Summer School will, where possible, look to caution Students in the first instance and will make every effort to communicate early concerns over behaviour to Parents and guardians. In respect to damages, caused deliberately or as a result of inappropriate behaviour, the Summer School will recover costs from the Student or Students involved. 8 Bag or room search If Summer School staff suspect that a Student has broken Summer School rules or has been involved in any illegal activity, the Student may be questioned and his/her accommodation or belongings may be searched in appropriate circumstances. Each Institution shall instruct its Students to represent their Home Institution and country in the host community to the best of their ability.

  • Behaviour No obscene or insulting language or disorderly behaviour shall be permitted. This includes any form of entertainment that may be considered lewd or inappropriate for a public place or that may offend or cause embarrassment to others.

  • High Risk Activities 1. The Software is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use or resale as on-line control equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure of the Software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage ("High Risk Activities"). Syncro and its suppliers specifically disclaim any express or implied warranty of fitness for High Risk Activities.

  • Catastrophic Leave Program Leave credits, as defined below, may be transferred from one (1) or more employees to another employee, on an hour-for-hour basis, in accordance with departmental policies upon the request of both the receiving employee and the transferring employee and upon approval of the employee's appointing authority, under the following conditions: A. The receiving employee is required to be absent from work due to injury or the prolonged illness of the employee, employee's spouse, registered domestic partner, a domestic partner listed on an “Affidavit for Enrollment of Domestic Partners,” submitted to employee benefits, parent or child, has exhausted all earned leave credits, including but not limited to sick leave, compensatory time, holiday credits and disability leave and is therefore facing financial hardship. B. The transfers must be for a minimum of four (4) hours and in whole hour increments thereafter. C. Transfers shall be allowed to cross-departmental lines in accordance with the policies of the receiving department. D. The total maximum leave credits received by an employee shall normally not exceed five hundred twenty (520) hours; however, if approved by his/her appointing authority, the total leave credits may be up to one thousand forty (1,040) hours. Total leave credits in excess of one thousand forty (1,040) hours will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the appointing authority subject to the approval of the Chief Administrative Officer. E. The transfers are irrevocable, and will be indistinguishable from other leave credits belonging to the receiving employee. Transfers will be subject to all taxes required by law. F. Leave credits that may be transferred under this program are defined as the transferring employee’s vacation credits or up to twenty-four (24) hours of sick leave per fiscal year. G. Transfers shall be administered according to the rules and regulations of the Auditor and Controller, and made on a form prescribed by the Auditor and Controller. Approvals of the receiving and donating employee, the donating employee's appointing authority and the receiving employee's appointing authority (in the case of an interdepartmental transfer) will be provided for on such form. H. This program is not subject to the Grievance Procedure of this Agreement.

  • Influenza Vaccine Upon recommendation of the Medical Officer of Health, all employees shall be required, on an annual basis to be vaccinated and or to take antiviral medication for influenza. If the costs of such medication are not covered by some other sources, the Employer will pay the cost for such medication. If the employee fails to take the required medication, she may be placed on an unpaid leave of absence during any influenza outbreak in the home until such time as the employee has been cleared by the public health or the Employer to return to the work environment. The only exception to this would be employees for whom taking the medication will result in the employee being physically ill to the extent that she cannot attend work. Upon written direction from the employee’s physician of such medical condition in consultation with the Employer’s physician, (if requested), the employee will be permitted to access their sick bank, if any, during any outbreak period. If there is a dispute between the physicians, the employee will be placed on unpaid leave. If the employee gets sick as a reaction to the drug and applies for WSIB the Employer will not oppose the application. If an employee is pregnant and her physician believes the pregnancy could be in jeopardy as a result of the influenza inoculation and/or the antiviral medication she shall be eligible for sick leave in circumstances where she is not allowed to attend at work as a result of an outbreak. This clause shall be interpreted in a manner consistent with the Ontario Human Rights Code.
