A Submittal Log clause requires the contractor or responsible party to maintain a detailed record of all documents, samples, and other items submitted for review or approval during a project. Submittal Log. The Professional shall prepare and submit in a format and on forms approved by the Department as part of the final document submission a listing of all construction submittals identified in the Contract Documents, including but not limited to shop drawings, material data, samples, and product data. This log must include all items that the Professional is required to review to verify that the correct products and equipment will be provided by the construction contractors.
