Submittal Description Clause Samples

The Submittal Description clause defines the requirements and expectations for documents, samples, or other materials that a contractor or supplier must provide for review and approval during a project. Typically, this clause outlines the types of submittals required, such as shop drawings, product data, or material samples, and specifies the format, timing, and process for submission. By clearly detailing these procedures, the clause ensures that all parties understand what is expected, helps maintain project quality, and prevents delays or misunderstandings related to the approval of materials or methods.
