Technical Clarification. The Company may notify the Contractor of technical clarifications to any Task Order at any time provided such clarification is within the general scope of either this Agreement or the relevant Task Order.
Technical Clarification. Technical clarification is the project phase where the Contractor undertakes engineering and design activities and clarifies all technical issues with the Employer. After the Contractor concludes the necessary investigations and the verification, the Project Manager shall be presented with the designs and philosophies developed during the systems engineering design phase for discussion and finalisation. This is to cover as a minimum:  High level design to meet the performance criteria specified for the Works.  Engineering system.  Documented proposals for process design acceptance testing, installation and commissioning procedures as well as maintenance documentation.  Quality assurance measures to be applied. On completion of the system engineering, the Contractor shall present the complete system design to the Employer for acceptance during formal Clarification Meetings. The documentation prepared by the Contractor for the Clarification Meetings shall be submitted to the Employer at least 7 working days prior to the start of technical clarification discussions. The documentation should be in a logical and adequate state of completeness, prepared in conformity with the accepted documentation synopsis:
Technical Clarification. Any members of ESC can add technical notes to the proposal in order to clarify its importance and add information that they deem relevant for an informed decision by the Board. In principle, experts in the field are invited to do so. Adding Technical Clarification does not automatically create a COI, per se.

System design freeze is a key activity date (project milestone) where the Project Manager agrees and accepts the final performance, the system functional design and equipment specifying documents developed during the technical clarification phase. No equipment procurement shall be made until system design freeze is obtained following the system Clarification Meetings unless permission is obtained from the Project Manager. Plant, materials and equipment selection will be based on the Contractor’s detailed design and the limitations imposed by the standards and specifications quoted in the Works Information.   • TECHNICAL GUIDANCE LETTERS In the sole discretion of the System Agency, and in conformance with federal and state law, the System Agency may issue instructions, clarifications, or interpretations as may be required during work performance in the form of a Technical Guidance Letter (TGL). A TGL must be in writing, and may be delivered by regular mail, electronic mail, or facsimile transmission. Any TGL issued by the System Agency will be incorporated into the Contract by reference for all purposes when it is issued.

  • TECHNICAL EVALUATION (a) Detailed technical evaluation shall be carried out by Purchase Committee pursuant to conditions in the tender document to determine the substantial responsiveness of each tender. For this clause, the substantially responsive bid is one that conforms to all the eligibility and terms and condition of the tender without any material deviation. The Institute’s determination of bid’s responsiveness is to be based on the contents of the bid itself without recourse to extrinsic evidence.
