Technical Plan Clause Samples

A Technical Plan clause outlines the specific technical requirements, processes, and deliverables that must be followed or achieved during a project. It typically details the methodologies, standards, timelines, and resources to be used, and may require the submission and approval of a formal technical plan document before work begins. This clause ensures that all parties have a clear, shared understanding of the technical approach, reducing the risk of misunderstandings and helping to keep the project on track.

Technical Plan. The Offerer’s proposal shall demonstrate an understanding of the problem, comply with the objectives of the program stated in the ORS Architecture Guidebook, T2E Government Reference Document, and offer a sound approach.
Technical Plan. The Offeror’s proposal shall demonstrate an understanding of the requirements, comply with the objectives of the program stated in the ORS Architecture Guidebook, offer a sound approach, and specifically address how the work would be accomplished as follows: 1. The Offeror’s submission shall be complete, balanced, and consistent. It shall clearly demonstrate an understanding of all the technical areas of the task order and their interrelationships. 2. The Offeror shall address how the broad spectrum of technical areas of the task order will be performed in a coherent, integrated manner that will meet each of the requirements defined in the task order. Specifically addressing the requirements of the major services or functions. 3. The Offeror shall identify technical risk areas to the successful fulfillment of the requirements and recommend approaches to minimize the probability and impact of those risks. 4. The Offeror shall include an understanding of the critical issues involved in all aspects of task order performance including management, systems engineering, research and analysis, design and development, fabrication support, testing, computer modeling, technical writing, facility management and operation, software maintenance and support, and computer systems administration and other functions necessary to complete this task order. 5. The Offeror shall present its innovative ideas and actions to reduce impediments to the rapid system (bus, payload, ground, launch) AI&T processes that could support the RRSW activities. 6. The Offeror shall present its approach to achieving the desired mission RRSW end-to-end demonstration goals/objectives. The approach shall address its plan for: • Mission Design Toolkit (MDT) use; • Rapid bus and spacecraft AI&T Process, Facility(s), & Hardware Inventory; • Modular Flight System Software & Re-Use; • Modular, standards-based, configurable buses; • Compatibility with and support for Rapid Transport & Launch; • Compatibility with and support for ORS Compatible Ground System Architecture; • Compatibility with and support for Rapid On-Orbit Checkout, Calibration, and Handoff. 7. The Offeror shall detail how it will support the multiple contracted and Government roles for the program. The approach shall be flexible enough to support separate Integrator, Bus, Payload, RRSW AI&T, mission organization leads. 8. The Offeror shall identify key risks associated with a multi-team integration approaches and describe how it plans to...
Technical Plan. Contractor is responsible for developing a technical plan addressing the planning horizon of the Business Plan for the CDR platform, and then updating the plan annually thereafter. The Technical Plan must be submitted to HCA for review and approval prior to making any changes to the existing platform. The Technical Plan must, at a minimum: • Provide a comprehensive list of systems and subsystems supporting the existing CDR infrastructure; • Identify any services expected to reach end-of-life, or expected to be otherwise removed or replaced during the period of the report; • Identify system enhancements and upgrades anticipated during the period of the report; • Identify opportunities for improvement in transporting or storing sensitive data, i.e., how to reduce the footprint of protected data; and otherwise enhance data security. • Identify areas for improving technical controls over sensitive data.
