Common use of Temporary Transfer Clause in Contracts

Temporary Transfer. In case of a temporary transfer, an employee's rate assignment shall not be changed except as required for progression to a higher applicable rate level, if any, as provided in Section 14.04. The rate assignment of an employee temporarily transferred to a job in a higher job class shall not be changed until the employee occupies the job for a period of three (3) consecutive working days, at which time the rate assignment shall be changed retroactively to the first day the employee occupied the job.
