Common use of Temporary Upgrade Pay Clause in Contracts

Temporary Upgrade Pay. Any Department Head (Management Group A) temporarily assigned to Interim City Manager effective the first day of assignment, shall receive Temporary Upgrade Pay effective the first day of assignment provided that the assignment lasts at least fifteen (15) calendar days. The Temporary Upgrade Pay must provide a minimum of a 10% increase in salary. Temporary Upgrade Pay above 10% increase in salary is at the discretion of the City Council.
