Temporary Worker. A temporary worker is an external agency worker engaged for an assignment lasting for ninety (90) or fewer calendar days. Temporary workers are not employees of the Company and do not have Union membership rights or employee benefits. Any extension of a temporary worker on the same assignment beyond ninety (90) calendar days requires the mutual agreement of the Union and the Company. The Company may not rotate temporary employees into the position or assignment where there is a need to create a regular position and hire a regular employee. 2.1.2.5.1 Any person covered by the Agreement as a temporary worker must obtain a working permit from the Union after each thirty (30) days worked.
