The Grievance Procedure. Step I. A grievance may be submitted within the fourteen (l4) day period specified in Section 4 to the employee's first supervisor in the chain of command who is outside the bargaining unit, as such supervisor may be designated by the Chief Court Administrator or his/her designee. Such supervisor shall meet with the Union representative, or the grievant, or both, and issue a written response within seven (7) days after such meeting but not later than fourteen (14) days after the submission of the grievance. Step II. Executive Director. When an answer does not resolve the grievance at Step I, such grievance shall then be submitted to the Division Executive Director of Superior Court Operations, or a designee.
