Thermal Imaging Sample Clauses

The Thermal Imaging clause defines the terms and conditions under which thermal imaging technology may be used, typically in the context of property inspections or security monitoring. It outlines the scope of permissible thermal imaging activities, such as identifying heat loss in buildings or detecting unauthorized access, and may specify requirements for operator qualifications or data handling. This clause ensures that all parties understand the extent and limitations of thermal imaging use, thereby protecting privacy, clarifying responsibilities, and preventing disputes over the interpretation or misuse of thermal imaging results.
Thermal Imaging. The Contractor shall provide within the schedules accompanying the Form of Tender a cost for the undertaking of annual thermal imaging and provision of a related comprehensive report at all properties. The assets to which thermal imaging will apply are main electrical switchgear LV and HV, electrical distribution board, electrical sub distribution, electrical control panels and heating, ventilating and air conditioning control panels.
Thermal Imaging. Where used, a thermal image scan can indicate variations of temperature on the surface to which it is aimed. A thermal camera is not an X-ray machine, it cannot see through walls. Where variations in surface temperature occur due to live termite activity, moisture and/or anomalies to structures, the variations can sometimes be detected by the camera. If variations in surface temperature occur that are not reasonably expected, then further investigation through an invasive inspection is recommended.
Thermal Imaging. The Supplier shall undertake annual thermal imaging and provide a comprehensive report for all accessible parts of the fixed electrical installation. The Assets to which thermal imaging will apply are: main electrical switchgear, LV electrical distribution, electrical sub distribution, distribution boards, UPS, generator/electrical control panels and heating, ventilating and air conditioning control panels as set out within the Asset Register. The Supplier shall provide a method statement during the Mobilisation Period stating how it intends to undertake the thermal imaging process. The Supplier will include the following activities for the specified assets in respect of thermal imaging: • Provide DCC Account Manager with a method statement and risk assessment prior to thermal imaging; • Thermal imaging takes photographs and other measurements; • Thermal anomalies; • Provide diagnosis of identified thermal anomalies; • Provide report on findings; • Produce a plan to further investigate and rectify any faults found.
