Throughput Volume. The volume of (i) natural gas that we gather, compress, treat and/or process and (ii) crude oil and produced water that we gather depends on the level of production from natural gas or crude oil ▇▇▇▇▇ connected to our gathering systems. Aggregate production volumes are impacted by the overall amount of drilling and completion activity. Furthermore, because the production rate of natural gas and crude oil ▇▇▇▇▇ decline over time, production can only be maintained or increased by new drilling or other activity. As a result, we must continually obtain new supplies of production to maintain or increase the throughput volume on our systems. Our ability to maintain or increase throughput volumes from existing customers and obtain new supplies of throughput is impacted by: • successful drilling activity within our AMIs; • the level of work-overs and recompletions of ▇▇▇▇▇ on existing pad sites to which our gathering systems are connected; • the number of new pad sites in our AMIs awaiting connections; • our ability to compete for volumes from successful new ▇▇▇▇▇ in the areas in which we operate outside of our existing AMIs; and • our ability to gather, treat and/or process production that has been released from commitments with our competitors. We report volumes gathered for natural gas in cubic feet per day. We aggregate crude oil and produced water gathering and report volumes gathered in barrels per day.
