Time for Completion of Work. No Work shall be commenced prior to the ENGINEER’s receipt of the DISTRICT’s Notice to Proceed. All Work shall be completed no later than twelve (12) months from the date on which this Agreement is signed by the District, provided, however, that extensions of time may be granted in writing by the Director of Public Works of San ▇▇▇▇ Obispo County, which said extensions of time, if any, shall be granted only for reasons attributable to inclement weather, acts of God, or for other cause determined in the sole discretion of the Director of Public Works of San ▇▇▇▇ Obispo County to be good and sufficient cause for such extensions.

Based on the information uncovered during Tasks 1 through 3, the DISTRICT’S Project Manager will determine the extent to which Tasks 2.3, 4, and Task 6 are necessary and whether to issue Notice(s) to Proceed. A Notice to Proceed will not be issued for Task 6 unless additional analysis will be required based on DWR's comments and response to the BBM request submittal. All authorized Work shall be completed no later than March 31, 2018, provided, however, that additional time may be granted in writing by the DISTRICT’s Director of Public Works or designee for follow-up analysis and activities in response to DWR's comments on the initial BBM request submittal.

All Work associated with the Update shall be completed no later than June 30, 2014 and all authorized Work associated with the Grant Application(s) shall be completed prior to the deadline(s) published by the Department of Water Resources; provided, however, that extensions of time may be granted in writing by the Director of Public Works of San ▇▇▇▇ Obispo County, which said extensions of time, if any, shall be granted only for reasons attributable to inclement weather, acts of God, or for other cause determined in the sole discretion of the Director of Public Works of San ▇▇▇▇ Obispo County to be good and sufficient cause for such extensions.

The Contract term shall be two (2) years from its effective date, unless extended by contract amendments.
Time for Completion of Work. The work to be performed under this Contract shall be commenced on a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" from City's Engineer to Contractor. The Contractor agrees to complete this work within that number of consecutive calendar days set forth hereinabove in Section 1(b) from the date of the Notice to Proceed. In the event that the Contractor fails to complete the work within said deadline; the Contractor agrees to become liable for any and all liquidated damages that are imposed by the City pursuant to the provisions hereof.
Time for Completion of Work. The second sentence of the first paragraph is hereby amended as follows: “It is understood that ENGINEER’S project engineering services may extend through design, construction, start-up, and operation of the Nacimiento Water Project and that this work authorization is intended to extend to June 30, 2013.”
