Time Off in Lieu of Pay. By mutual agreement between the Coordinator and the employee, the employee may take time off in lieu, calculated at the appropriate overtime rate. Employees may bank up to 40 hours of time in lieu but must have their time in lieu bank at 0 by the end of each fiscal year or it will be paid out. Employees must submit, with two (2) weeks’ notice, a request to use their time in lieu following which the employer has two (2) weeks within which to respond to that written request. Written requests by employees to utilize their time in lieu bank will not be unreasonably denied by the employer.
