Total Contribution Clause Samples
The Total Contribution clause defines the maximum financial liability or obligation that a party may have under a contract. In practice, this clause sets a cap on the total amount one party can be required to pay, regardless of the number or nature of claims that may arise during the contract term. For example, it may limit a supplier’s total liability for damages, indemnities, or penalties to a specified sum. This clause serves to allocate risk and provide certainty by preventing unlimited financial exposure for the parties involved.
