Trail Use Sample Clauses

The Trail Use clause defines the terms under which a property, typically a former railroad corridor, may be used for recreational trail purposes. It outlines the rights and responsibilities of parties involved, such as the property owner and the trail operator, including maintenance obligations, permitted activities, and liability considerations. This clause ensures that the land can be repurposed for public use while preserving the potential for future rail service, thereby balancing community recreational interests with long-term transportation planning.
