Trainers. The Contractor shall utilize professional trainers who are experienced in the field in which they are providing training classes. Experience must meet or exceed the minimum training/experience requirements for the highest level of professional or academic attainment in the subject discipline as described in this Basic Contract or as described in the Task Order.
Trainers a. All trainers shall successfully complete the state-approved SGM training of trainers.
b. Updates to SGM trainings and group professional development shall occur on an as needed basis.
Trainers a. For the first ninety (90) days following implementation, the trainers will be available to help Flight Attendants bid and understand their award.
b. The Company shall bear all costs of training, including pay for Flight Attendants appointed as trainers. A trainer assigned as a member of the Company’s sponsored PBS task force will be paid one hundred and five (105) hours per month and all reasonable expenses.
c. The trainers shall be appointed by the JSIC.

The JSIC shall oversee the disbursement of a “training bank” of ten thousand (10,000) hours which will be established to fund deployment of such Flight Attendants to serve as crew base training representatives. During the training months, in addition to the Union members of the PBS Committee, there will be trainers in each crew base (and co- terminals).

Employees who are certified by the Company to work as a Trainer will be paid a premium of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour in addition to his/her regular hourly wage for the hours assigned to train other employees. Seniority will be a considering factor when selecting employees to become certified trainers.

An Employee requested by a Manager to provide structured training to another employee will be paid a premium of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour for all hours spent training (with a minimum premium of one (1) hour). The training premium does not apply to "job shadowing" or "buddy" system training. Trainers will be selected on the basis of skill, ability, and attendance record over the last twelve (12) months. Lead Hands and Relief Lead Hands shall be paid a premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour for any hours worked as a Lead Hand or Relief Lead Hand. Where a part-time employee is appointed to a Lead Hand position, they shall gain full-time status. Certified High Reach Operator Certified High Reach Operators shall be paid a premium of three dollars ($3.00). Premiums will only be paid to employees certified and will be paid for entire shift if the employee works the majority of their shift on the equipment they are certified on. It is understood that it will not be paid when working full shifts in another department. Retroactive Payment First year wage increases will be retroactive to October 2, 2022. Trainers. 26.01 The Company will designate one viewer packer/tester per shift to train new viewer packer/testers. These designated trainers shall be paid fifty cents (50 cents) above their classified rate for all hours worked. It is understood that the Company can replace employees designated as trainers if the Company believes they are not properly performing this function. In the event of reverse seniority a trainer designation does not give the employee protection.
